In July we watched Danny Hammond’s hypnotic film about the river Ouse, Downstream, followed by a talk from We Love Our Ouse campaigner and local mayor, Matthew Bird. Nick Sayers took us on a personal transport-themed journey and we ended with a sterling performance from internationally renowned guitarist Richard Durrant who shared his love for two key musicians and finished with a performance of the music from Trumpton’s Windy Miller (with a little help from the audience).
We take a well-earned break for summer and return Sept 13th with Steve Bustin, Luke O’Hara and Patti Webb.
