Brighton Catalyst Club Sept 12th

David Bramwell

In July volunteer at the London Foundling Hospital Thomas Aird, told us about the building’s fascinating history. Performer Marisa Carnesky explored the extraordinary lives of showwomen including Brighton’s own Lulu Adams, the first international female circus clown. And all the way from France, professional musician Augustin Viard demonstrated the Ondes Martenot, an instrument created in the 1920s, with an ethereal beauty of of its own, somewhere between organ and theremin.
September’s guests include Ewan Kirkland and Coffin Club’s Kate and Kate from Eastbourne . Hell, yes, it’s going to be another corker.
