In October we had a fantastic line-up. Dr Lucy Robinson explored the legacy of the Eighties via – amongst other things – Roland Rat, Glastonbury festival and CND; Sophie Fletcher gave a moving talk about what belonging and belongings mean to us, beginning with the story of artist Michael Landy who, in 2001 destroyed all 7,000+ items that belonged to him. Closer to home Anna Deamer shared her research into the life and work of Brighton’s overlooked experimental novelist Ann Quin.
We return Nov 9th with Julius Colwyn , music journalist Harriet Gibsone and film director Simon Rumley.
