In September we watched Michael Smith’s short film about Hastings, Stranger on the Shore; Marisa Linton explored the history and meaning of Folk Horror, artist julian Cleaver shared his experiences creating sound art in response to experiments around nuclear fusion; Jane, Eliza and Emma treated us to two songs and Michael Smith bookended the night with readings from his dazzling new book, also on the theme of Hastings, its people and culture.

We return Oct 8th with Jak Hutchcraft, folklorist and musician Clare Rakich and Farah Radford.
