In August we had an amazing talk from Angi Mariani all about her family village in the Italian hills, its local characters, cuisine and history; Tim Crook shared his passion for fell running and some of its unsung heroes, and I gave a talk called The Myths of Science that was partly an excuse to talk about one of my heroes, Alan Watts.
We return this September with Brighton University’s Tamar Jeffers McDonald, Kevin Green and Sussex folklorist and historian Chris Hare with what he describes as ‘his weirdest talk yet’.
