In November we were treated to a bonfire themed poem from Jane Bom-Bane and learned how to earn a compo face from the host. Award-winning nature writer Mike Unwin shared the sounds and stories of the ten most common bird songs and calls used in films (often incorrectly); Philippa Stanton took us on a history of the telephone kiosk from the K1 to present day (and their ongoing disappearance from the landscape) while Danny Nemu and Rima Staines explored the relationship between hypnosis, art, words and sound.

Please note that our final Catalyst Club of the year is on a SUNDAY and sees the return of artist Clarissa Shanahan, and poet/performer Chris Parkinson. Plus we welcome for the first to the Catalyst Club international private investigator Bridget Prince!

There may also be a Christmassy short film to start us off, as tradition decrees. And, of course, more bird news.
