Despite getting the dates of the Catalyst Club wrong on my mailouts on a regular basis I do take comfort in the knowledge that you’re a smart crowd and will – appropriately – roll your eyes and mutter something like ‘I’m sure he meant Thursday 9th’ (and not turn up on Tuesday 2nd as I might have suggested) secure in the knowledge that Brighton Catalyst Club is always the second Thursday.
And yet…
With The Great Escape bringing new music and bands to every nook and cranny of Brighton this May, for this month only Brighton Catalyst Club will be the first Wednesday of the month on Wed 4th May (Star Wars day). So please note this date change or risk queueing for four hours to see a band called Fish Fish Fish Fish Fish Fish who sound like The Strokes.
Heed my warnings and all will be well. For May we have a stellar line-up! We welcome back Catalyst favourite Lynn ‘Lynnguist’ Murphy from Sussex University, artist Nick Sayers and new speaker Iain McDowall.
