In November we had a terrific night, starting with a talk about the origin of ideas from filmmaker Simon Rumley. Artist Julius Colwyn took us on a mind-expanding journey into the nature of ritual, and music journalist Harriet Gibsone provided a hilarious finale with her candid accounts of her misadventures and obsessions in music, culminating in a darkly comic romantic fantasy involving everyone’s favourite heartthrob, Chris Martin from Coldplay.
For our final Brighton event of the year we welcome forensic anthropologist and horror writer Krista Amira Calvo, anti-Page 3 campaigner and artist Jo Harrison, plus broadcaster and historian Alan Dein.
