August’s Catalyst Club proved to be an evening of profound and personal talks which – while spanning science, humanism and spirituality – seemed deeply connected through themes of community, love and hope.
Seamus Fox shared a personal story of homelessness and addiction and the plight of those who, all too often, society ignores. Julian Mayer took us on a funny and moving cosmological journey which began with him meeting Stephen Hawkin and moved into how quantum theory can help us appreciate our lives more, and Rifa Thorpe-Tracey revealed how she joined a cult in India and went on to became a guru for the Oneness Movement.
For September we welcome the return of Bella Pollen (History of Naturism, Vile Valentines) plus Mariam Chrichton and the Treason Show’s Mark Brailsford.
