In November Dr Gilly Forrester shared her research on different primates and what they can teach us – through puzzle solving – about the development of human language. I gave a talk called The Biggest Tongue in Tunisia, all about the cartoonist B. Kliban and his extraordinary and overlooked body of work.
For December we’ll be continuing to run the night in two 80 minute sittings. Choose from 7pm-8.20pm or 8.30pm-9.50pm. Our two very special guest speakers include writer Mathew Clayton, who spoke in 2019 about Sussex diarist Thomas Turner.
