In January Mark Keeble told us about the history of Paris’ Shakespeare and Co bookshop and the unique way in which its owner George used to trim his hair (he used lit candles!), Dan Mudford shared his passion for and knowledge of the life and work of avant-garde artist Len Lye and Cammie Toloui (formerly of the Yeastie Girlz) shared a time from her student days when she worked in San Francisco’s Lusty Lady and photographed men ‘at their most vulnerable.’
We return Feb 12th with Brighton Science Festival’s Richard Robinson, Catherine Newell and local historian Mathew Homewood.
It’s worth getting tickets in advance, we usually sell out!
