In February historian Matthew Homewood entertained us by delving into Victorian medical quackery, from ‘pink pills for pale people’ to electric corsets for ‘ladies problems’. Cath Newell gave a tender and personal talk about her relationship with her autistic son and Richard Robinson scared the bejesus out of us by exploring Trump’s relationship with Christian fundamentalists and their belief in end time.
We return March 11th with a bit more legroom (all will be revealed on the night) and 3 brilliant guest speakers: linguist Lynne Murphy, Laurine Waille and Ted Barrow.

Tickets are worth bagging early, we tend to sell out.
